Unicorn Slider Card

I'm hit by interactive cards these days and here is another creation, inspired by a card I found on Pinterest.

I've used the Stay Magical stampset from Mudra for the castle, unicorn and sentiment. Stamping is done using Versafine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed in black. The clouds are created using Create a Scene - Clouds, Land and Grass stencil from CraftyScrappers and Salty Ocean distress ink. I've used Faber Castell watercolor pencils to color the castle and the unicorn. Stamped a few solid stars in different colors of distress inks to make the card look more colorful. The slider area is fussy cut. The unicorn is attached to a foam tape and button for easy slide. The panel is attached to the card base with 2 layers of foam tape.

I've also added glossy accents to the castle and the unicorn for more interest :) Here are some pics!

Bunny Magic Slider Card

Today I'm here with a cute interactive card - Magic Slider. I made this card for a dear friend Akshma :)

Have a look at the finished creation first.

Does it look simple? Want to see the magic? Pull the tab!

It's so cute isn't it? For the main panel, I distressed Salty Ocean and Mowed Lawn to form the grass and sky. I used the Clouds stencil from CraftyScrappers. The center part is diecut using Gina Marie Scallop Stitched Circles die. Stamp the bunny from Mudra - Playful Bunnies stampset using Versafine Onyx Black on a separate cardstock, color it (I've used distress inks) and fussy cut it. On the inner panel, create the background and add this bunny. Stamp and color a few hearts from the same stampset.

Stamp the bunny on an acetate sheet and heat emboss in black. Align the inner and outer panels and accordingly, place the acetate so that the bunnies match perfectly. For the pull tab, I created a sunshine effect using the Sun stencil from CraftyScrappers. Assemble all the layers and finish the slider part.

Mount the slider onto a blue cardstock. The sentiment is stamped using onyx black ink. I've added glossy accents below the sentiment and around the scallop circle for more interest.

Here are some more pics.

Trishutter Floral Card

Here is a creation that I missed to post!

For this card, I've used the Exquisite Blossoms pack from Nakshathra Designz. This pack has wonderful floral designs that can suit projects for anyone. I chose it to make a card for my parents' 30th anniversary :) And the model? Trishutter fancy fold card :)

For the front of the card, I have used a chipboard from Itsy Bitsy. I sprayed Gold Rush color splash directly on the chipboard to get the brown shade. And then colored parts of it, the butterfly and flowers using gold acrylic paint. I added a green cs as base for the chipboard so that it looked prominent. I added only a few embellishments as I wanted the floral paper to be the highlight :)

I later filled in some places with my personal message :)

Here are the pics! Enjoy :)
